Basil M.K. Al-Ghalayini

Basil is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of BMG Financial Group (“BMG”). Previously, he was Managing Director at The International Investor in London, UK, and prior to that, he was with the Investment Management Division of The National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah and London.Since BMG’s inception, Basil has acted as team leader for equity and debt capital market transactions, such as Rights Issues, IPOs and Private Placements, as well as leading a government-mandated assignment for the comprehensive review of the insurance sector, in order to arrive at a set of recommendations for the sector’s eventual consolidation. He is also a frequent participant in official business delegations representing the private sector of Saudi Arabia.Basil is the Chairman of the Authorized Persons 5th Committee (Advisors and Arrangers) and the Chairman of AkarOne in Saudi Arabia. He is the Non-Executive Director of BMG Wealth LLP in the UK and Chairman of the BMG Foundation.He was the Secretary General of the Arab Bankers Association of the United Kingdom, Vice Chairman of the Saudi-British Businessmen Council, and Chairman of the Saudi-Syrian Businessmen Council.Basil holds a B.Sc. degree from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, a CSS from Harvard University, USA, and an IMD from London Business School, UK.

John Yip

John is a senior member of BMG’s management and investment banking franchise. His 30+ years’ career has taken him to live and work in Asia and the Arabian Gulf region. John is acknowledged within his network for his prowess as an originator and financial structurer for a multitude of financial asset class and financial structures comprising equity, quasi-equity, bonds, Sukuk, mergers and acquisitions financing, and Islamic financing. Given his experience in working in Asia and the Arabian Gulf region, John spent a considerable part of his career intermediating capital and investment flows between the two regions. John holds a law degree from the National University of Singapore, postgraduate diplomas in Shari’a law and Islamic Banking from the International Islamic University of Malaysia and a doctorate in finance from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, in addition to being an accredited technical analyst, certified by the Society of Technical Analysts of the United Kingdom.

Raed Abdulghani

Raed Abdulghani is a results-driven Head of BusinessAdvisory and seasoned financial consultant with extensive expertise incorporate restructuring, process engineering, and strategic transformationacross major regional entities.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King SaudUniversity alongside advanced certifications and training including CPA/CMAprep, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and specialized IFRS and Zakat/Tax expertise.He brings a comprehensive multi-disciplinary background spanning finance,supply chain, IT, corporate governance, Human resources (HR) &Administration, and legal operations.

A skilled negotiator and creative problem solver, Raed has aproven track record of optimizing profitability, establishing ProjectManagement Offices (PMOs), guiding high-stakes M&A, valuations, IPOreadiness, and IPO listing, leading full-scale ERP implementations, andsecuring complex capital and fundraising initiatives.

Tamer Attar

Tamer is driven by the pursuit of excellence and a commitment to ethical practices, with a strong track record of leading numerous high-stakes projects and a passion for helping clients reach their financial aspirations.

He received honors and graduated from the University of Arizona and the W.A. Franke Honors College. Mr. Tamer holds a connected leadership program with Yale University.

Financial Analyst

Naif Nabil

Naif is a Financial Analyst who joined BMG in 2025. He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (2023) and has a strong understanding of financial principles with a passion for navigating complex situations. He gained practical experience through a rigorous internship at SAB Invest and two years at Financial Content Company, contributing to major investment banking deals including IPOs, M&A, and private placements.

He has passed key professional qualifications including CME1, CME2, CME4, and CME5, and completed prestigious training programs with JPMorgan Chase & Co and Wall Street Prep.

Compliance Officer and AML/CFT

Maisa Al-Jallad

Maisa Al-Jallad joined BMG Financial Group in 2022. She currently holds the position of Compliance Officer and AML/CFT Officer at BMG Financial Group.Maisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Jeddah and possesses a range of professional certifications, including CAMS, CCO, CME-1,2, ICWIM, and IFsah, in addition to several other specialized training courses.

IT Manager

Muhammad Waqas

Muhammad Waqas is the IT Manager of BMG. He has been working with BMG Since 2019 he has 5 years of experience in the Information Technology field. He provides end-user support to employees and acts as an integral member of BMG business development, optimizing IT infrastructure, improving LAN/WAN connectivity, developing security protocols, and developing the BMG website.

He was in Quad Dimensions before, managing and executing Web Development and Design-related projects. Waqas holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan.
